 Fibreglass profiles are made from 65% to 85% glass fibers and 15% to 35% resin. The 82.5 mm (3 °") deep frame and sash are insulated with expanded polystyrene. Frames are fabricated from pultruded fibreglass and assembled with tightly silicone sealed mitered corners with foam filled reinforced mechanically integrated nylon shear blocks.
 Fibreglass and aluminum lineal is available in white as standard. Custom colors are available as required. Color Guide
 Pre-tensioned heavy duty Omega coil balance allows sash to be tilted to the inside, top and bottom sashes for cleaning and/or can be lifted out for service. Pivot pin is die cast zinc. All parts are rust resistant. A zinc die cast sash lock provides security. Two locks are installed on windows wider than 1,000 mm or 39 3/8. The standard hardware colour is white.
 The insulating glass conforms to CAN/CSGB-12.8-M90. Double glazing with a minimum 12.5mm (1/2") air space is standard. All glazing is dual sealed and made with Edgetech's Super Spacer. Glass thickness is determined by the National Building Code. High performance glazing options include: spectrally selective daylighting glass, tinted glass, reflective glass and low emissivity glass (Low E).  The exterior thermoplastic weather-strip provides the window with a dust seal and some rain protection. The center santoprene bulb seal prevents against air and water leakage. The inner santoprene spline seal restricts air infiltration. All of these seals used in conjunction with one another allows cavities to be drained to the exterior to conform to the rain screen principle. All weather-stripping can be replaced.
 A factory installed full screen comes with all operable windows. Roll formed aluminum screen frame is held in place with complressor springs on one side. The screening is made from black, non-glare fibreglass cloth which is spline set. Standard Minimums and Maximums - Double Hung Window
